Drin by bus stop blocked
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8317316.
The drains by the busstop are blocked and the water in the dip is not draining away. Bus Stop not usable as a result so bus stopping else where and causing traffic issues. Cars going through single file causing issues, and school pickup problematic due to access issues for parents. Water is flooding over the curb and down the bank into the gardens at rear, affecting my timber shed and fencing. Drain needs unblocking, not just cleaning the top surface as tree roots are lilely causing a bigger issue within the pipes

This has been passed to the Highway Officer to investigate.
We know that an important part of any road network is the drainage system which is designed to carry water away from the road surface. Even when a gully is clean and well maintained it will only cope with a certain volume of water at one time, a sudden and heavy downpour can still cause flooding especially if the road is in a low lying area.
The Highway Officer is only able to inspect the drain when the water has cleared away, this will be done within 10 days and if required, an order will be raised to clear the drain.

The Highways Officer has attended the site and completed an inspection based on your report.
As a result of this inspection, we plan to resolve the issue reported within 6-8 weeks.
