Illegal / Dangerous Parking - Kendal Park / Blackmoor Park Junior School

Reported via mobile in the Car parking category anonymously at 12:34, Mon 20 October 2025

Sent to Liverpool City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8317134.

The entrance to Kendal Park has double yellow lines road and kerb pavement meaning no waiting or loading at any time. This is continously ignored and parent and guardians park illegally and dangerously every day during school drop off and pick up times. This photo was taken today only 3 days after the visit of a traffic warden which serves to prove it doesnt work as deterent. A permament solution in the form of bollards is required of we are going to avoid another death like Bobby Collerans.

Updates

  • Problems still persists despite the visit of some traffic wardens last week. A permanent solution is required as temporary deterrents do not work and never will. Until such a time that some kind of bollards are installed then school children, pedestrians and motorists will continue to be put at risk.
