Missing sign (Parking) problem

We have lived on New Street since 2021 and parking is becoming more and more of an issue.
I would like to forward a request for road markings or permit parking to be considered for our road due to Majority of people parking here are from other streets, students or people walking into the quays.
I would like to point out that Weston road and Stroud Road joining ours are permit and that residents living on these road do not want to pay for a permit which is increasing leading to them moving onto New Street.
We are now at a point people are parking on both sides of the roads on the school zigzag and are obstructing people from walking on the footpath including prams and wheelchairs where they have to then go into the roads which surly is a safety concern for all.
They are blocking access to peoples properties (gates for garden) and making it extremely different for us to park our vehicle on our drive.
I am aware that where they are parked is a restriction and yet they have never received a ticket.

I have attached a recent picture of what I arrived home to Monday 26th August at 13:42 which clearly from the signs this is a day that parking is not permitted on zigzags and yet these vehicles had been there since Sunday (move vehicles were parked in front of the school gates but you are not able to see this from the picture) which I have CCTV footage off and still no tickets have been issued.

As you can imagine this is becoming extremely difficult and frustrating as time goes on and I beg for someone to please look into this and consider permit or double yellows for the opposite side of the road to be made and to consider the residents of this road should be allowed parking first. We are all paying our dues and we shouldn’t have to be fighting to park on our road.
