  • Hello. Nothing has been done. The plastic sheeting (albeit now a bit shredded) is still there. Please can it all be removed from the roadside. Ta.

  • Thank you for using FMS. After inspection, we have determined that the issue originally identified was not the cause of the problem. Unfortunately, no action can be taken at this time due to the nature of the road and the risks it would pose to our staff.
As a result, this report will now be closed with no further action. Should future plans include a lane closure, the entire stretch of road will be litter-picked at that time.

Thank you for using FixMyStreet to report your concerns to Bromley.

  • Hello,

I understand this is a busy road with no pavement, however issues like this should (I imagine?) have a clear, effective contingency - whether that’s brief traffic management, a short stop, or a planned safe intervention. At the moment, closing the report suggests there isn’t one.

Please can you set out what contingency you actually have in place for roadside litter on high-traffic roads, and confirm how and when this will be properly dealt with.

    Thanks.
