Overhanging vegetation

Reported via desktop in the Restricted Visibility / Overgrown / Overhanging category anonymously at 16:52, Tuesday 14 October 2025 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8295345.

3 large wild cherry trees on verge at the corner of The Horsepool. They have grown to a size now where they seriously need some work on them. large heavy branches are overhanging the road and can come in contact with vehicles as they drive by, especially in the rain as the branches hang lower because of their weight. Also, sap from the trees as well as the berries full onto cars and it's a constant battle to avoid any damage when parking on the road. Please can you reduce the size of the trees or take the branches back which are overhanging the parked cars as well as clearing slight lines for vehicles and pedestrian safety. Thanks
