  • I wish to add my concern that this road has further deteriorated and is now dangerous for cyclists

Posted anonymously at 18:38, Sunday 9 November 2025

  • Pothole significantly deteriorated now 80cm in diameter and 10cm deep. Dangerous for cyclists.

Posted anonymously at 20:04, Monday 10 November 2025

  • There is now a lot of loose gravel around this pothole, indicating that it is rapidly deterioratin, and a second pothole is now forming just ahead of it. It is in the mddle of the cycle lane and now deep enough to be a dangerous hazard for cyclists. If it fills with water after heavy rain, the depth of it will be hidden from cylcists, look like a shallow puddle, and will become much more dangerous. Likewise, at night, it will be very difficult for cyclists to see the danger. Even if the cyclist is aware of the pothole, it is hard to avoid without swerving out into the bus lane.

  • These potholes are now enlarging every day. Gravel from them is being thrown up onto the pavement as busses travel down the bus lane. This is a serious H&S issue to cyclists and pedestrians.
