Hedges / treesout of control

Reported via iOS in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 15:50, Monday 13 October 2025

Sent to Reading Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8290207.

I reported this problem 2/3 weeks ago. Unfortunately the situation has become worse. The walkway between Winton Road and Egerton Close is very overgrown the trees are now head height and you cannot see through to the other end. The recent storm has damaged some branches which are hanging down. These branches could fall causing injury to the public.

Updates

  • Obviously Reading Borough Council are not concerned with keeping their citizens safe. As the tree is still hanging dagerously. And you cannot see through the cutting because of the overgrown vegetation.
