Drains not cleared for years!

Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8286728.

On the north side of Sway Road there is an open ditch, the water flows west towards South Sway Lane. Then just before Wisbech Farm it goes into a pipe. There are then a series of metal drains, which haven’t been cleaned for so long they are now invisible, buried, but it’s obvious where they are as there is a dip in the verge. Generally just a few inches to the left or right of the telegraph poles. The pipe then emerges on the west boundary of Hollins Nursery. The end of the pipe used to be very obvious until it was smashed into several times by car accidents! In winter there was a little stream past the bungalow, but it’s just a trickle now. Just needs the drains from Wisbech Farm westwards clearing, to avoid winter ice on the road.
