Bridge 82 over the Grand Union Canal is showing evidence of major structural defects.
Loose bricks and mortar on the parapet wall are posing an immediate risk to people using the tow path below. There is also evidence of progressive failure of the supporting arch, which is eventually likely to lead to overall collapse.
