Temporary traffic lights are not working properly

Reported via desktop in the Traffic lights category anonymously at 17:13, Fri 10 October 2025 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8280109.

The temporary traffic lights on the junction of Two mile hill and Kingsway are not working properly. One is stuck on red so cars are passing through causing some chaos.

Updates

  • This is still an issue. Roadworks are completely unmanned so nobody to report issue to directly to fix. Absolute chaos causing long unnecessary traffic jams in three directions.

  • Fixed as roadworks are no more

  • The new traffic lights are a step backwards.. took over 6 weeks to complete and you removed the filter light from the kingsway to two mile hill.. in doing so the traffic lights timing from this direction needs to be increased as nos if you are lucky only one vehicle coming from the kingsway can exit safely.. This is an accident waiting to happen
