It is my understanding that you ate not allowed to park and wait on double yellow. This is a persistent problem on Fairford & Bradgers Hill in Luton. Parents park on the corners (where they are clearly marked double yellow) and it also causes more congestion when other drivers are trying to go around the corner as you cannot see
