Definitive line of Bridleway obstructed

Reported in the Footpaths/ Rights of way (usually not tarmac) category by Robert Whittaker at 16:05, Fri 20 May 2016

Sent to Norfolk County Council 5 minutes later

The definitive line of Beachamwell BR19a would take it thought the grounds of Hall Barn here. This route is obstructed by fences and hedges.

An alternative exists around the edge (complete with a new official-looking bridle-gate), but the the route should be officially diverted to recognise this.

(In fact the track used for most of Beachamwell BR19a fails to exactly follow the definitive line, so any diversion order should take this into account too.)

  • I respectfully disagree with the previous writer: The legal line of this public highway should be opened up; there is no legitimate reason for it to have been obstructed.
