Blocked street lighting on paths near Betjeman Millennium Park

Reported via desktop in the Vegetation blocking Street Light category anonymously at 14:01, Thursday 9 October 2025

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8274450.

Lighting on path down to the brook from the church is blocked out by overgrown vegetation. Lighting on path from the mill along to the park is blocked out by overgrown vegetation. Lighting on path round the outside of the park alongside the brook (including street lights not working - will raise a separate report for each) is blocked out by overgrown vegetation. Lighting on path up to Ham Road from the edge of the park (including street lights not working - will raise a separate report for each) is blocked out by overgrown vegetation. The lack of lighting due to the overgrown vegetation means that many areas are absolutely pitch black and very dangerous - especially with the brook close by. Local residents are also not using these paths after dark due to fears of not being able to see other people.
