3 metre serious break up of road

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8272441.

This problem has been reported and repaired many times and is now in my opinion in a dangerous state.It is getting deeper and longer as time passes by . WNC know about the problem but it requires a movement of the gas supply pipe to the centre of the A422. This is unlikely to be carried in the short term. A more substantial short term repair needs to be carried out prior to the winter. When it rains the whole area is submerged in water as it flows down the road towards Limes Farm .

  • I have now taken an actual measurement of the serious break up of road .It is 5 metres in length

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 4 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 26 weeks. Our current average response time for a Priority 4 repair is 59 days.
