Sinking road surface

This sinking road surface has been there for several months outside Waitrose Northumbria Drive. Particularly dangerous when it has rained as you can't see the trip hazard because it fills up with rain. I nearly tipped my husbands wheelchair up on the drop.

    I reported this problem outside Waitrose / Henleaze library zebra crossing months ago ,and BCC eventually replied saying it wasn't urgent . How bad does it have to get before somebody repairs the sunken road ?

  • We've investigated this enquiry and believe it relates to the same issue that we've seen via a separate enquiry and appropriate action has already been taken. For example, a job may have been raised with our contractors for repair or the issue is not the responsibility of Bristol City Council.
