Trees deemed unsafe by Herts Council but no action taken

Sent to East Hertfordshire District Council 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 826979.

Three trees have been painted with white dots and/or red dots by Herts. Councill workmen. Two are dead and one of these dead trees recently snapped in high winds. The other tree is unstable and these trees were marked for action approx four to five months ago. They are almost directly behind 32, Primrose Drive in the Foxholes Walk/path area between the fence for 32 and the path,

  • The trees with the red paint spots (the dead trees) have been cut down but the tree with the white paint spot was ignored. This tree has several dead branches that look ready to fall on the footpath below. Also the workmen that cut the dead trees did not take the old trees away; they merely threw them in the surrounding undergrowth as they have done before. Also along the path there are several trees with red or white paint dots on them that have bee similarly ignored,
