Dangerous and adds to speeding

Reported via mobile in the Traffic Signs category anonymously at 14:33, Wednesday 8 October 2025

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8269719.

Missing 30mph sign in right as you enter Ardley from Middleton Stoney. And the one on the left is now becoming overgrown. This increases the speeding through the village - trucks and cars and car transporters often driving at double the speed limit. I know this was reported a year ago. Why hasn’t it been sorted? Plus the 40mph flashing sign is still up and am working…so the most it does is remind drivers to reduce to 40mph!

  • Thank you for replacing the 30mph sign entering Ardley ! Unfortunately the 'de-restriction' sign hasn't been replenished at the same time - hense traffic is leaving Ardley unsure when to increase their speed to the national limit. Thanks.
