2 cars parked illegal on yellow lines that displays no parking road signs

Reported via mobile in the Abandoned vehicles category anonymously at 14:05, Wed 8 October 2025

Sent to Halton Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8269532.

2 cars have been parked outside 8 Picow Farm road all day from 9.30am and are still here now at 2pm. The road has a no parking sign and yellow lines The black Porsche is also parked on the path causing obstruction as prams and wheelchairs can not pass. The silver car is obstructing a driveway and parked opposite a busy junction, where lorries and trucks turn regularly. The cars are causing disruption to the road as there are cars parked on the opposite side of the road too, making it difficult for buses, cars, vans to pass eachother safely. This road is becoming more dangerous with cars double parked every day... And now this problem of cars parking on yellow lines and on kerbs and pathways and across drives

Updates

  • Council say it's a police matter... Police say it's a council matter.

We need traffic wardens in Halton and the streets directly next to the train station needs to be residential permit holders only.

Residents can't even park outside their own homes. The older people have to park streets away from their homes as Cars are left there for days, even weeks while people go on holiday!

  • Cars still parking on a no stopping zone.

The road should be none parking or resident parking only.

Train station users constantly park illegally, over residential drives and on double yellow lines
