Parking bay causes congestion

Reported via desktop in the Line issue (Parking) category anonymously at 13:25, Wed 8 October 2025

Sent to Gloucestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8269271.

B4633 Gloucester Road, between junction with Libertus Road and pedestrian crossing (traffic lights).

On-street parking bay causes congestion, especially at peak hours, resulting in large amounts of queuing traffic on Gloucester Road and Liberus Road. Traffic flow is much better when there are no vehicles parked at this location.

There is short-term free parking ay the railway station - removing the on-street parking at this location would greatly improve traffic flow at peak times, reducing pollution in the process.
