Pavement tarmac well below road kerb

Mainly on west side (10 & 11), also on the east, the tarmac doesn't come up to kerb level by 1 and up to 2 inches at the edge in places. The weeds growing here have been an eyesore for years. Some weeds partly removed, show that a lot of soil has accumulated in the significant gap and that the tarmac doesnt run flush with the kerb and is a health & safety hazard in terms of tripping.
