Unauthorised flags on all lampposts

This morning I have noticed all the lampposts on Park Road have been covered in Union Jack flags. I assume these have not been authorised by the local council as they were hung in dead of night; they are an intentional attempt to intimidate and threaten the local community, in particular, the minority and immigrant communities which L8 is proudly home to. I haven't driven the full length of the road, but they run at least from the Aigburth road end by Dingle, all the way up to the Dicken's streets at the Baltic Triangle end. Aside from anything, they look ugly, and we shouldn't have to live with that and I would like them to be taken down ASAP.
