Pothole 'repair' at bus stop

Reported via desktop in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 14:31, Monday 6 October 2025

Sent to Glasgow City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8258962.

So, someone has been out and filled just half of the large pothole at the bus stop, and only with about 3" of 'cold tar'. Cold tar, as he been proven before, does not work at this location. It needs a permanent fix and a better quality one than during the last full road resurfacing.

In addition, as the unfinished job has been coned off, buses are having to pull up before the stop ie right on top of a drain. That'll be the clogged drain that aided the road deterioration years ago, and resulted in temp fixes then (failed) & full re-surface (failed). And the buses are now compacting all the loose road grit in the drain.

Please do it once and do it right (for a change).A proper, permanent solution incl. removing ALL loose gravel AND clearing that now half-clogged drain.
