Big stretch of streetlights not working

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8258624.

There’s a stretch of 4-5 streetlights not working, from the Mendip Heights roundabout towards Didcot town. It’s dangerous for pedestrians as it’s very dark.

    I had reported this issue on 15/09/2025 (ref:8165667), your update on 23/09/2025 state that "Contractor attended and found no fault". I then upload photos on 25/09/2025 with the same issue. The latest photo was taken on 09/10/2025.

  • I am not the original reporter but having cycled past this section the last two nights the street lights still are not working.

  • This is still a problem as of Monday 3rd November. Now that the clocks have changed the problem is even more pressing. The affected light are numbered 6LR to 12LR.

  • These lights are still out. As a pedestrian it's extremely dark along this section of road.

  • These lights are still not working. This poses a very real and significant risk to the safety of pedestrians walking from the station to houses in Mendip Heights, Dida Gardens and Valley Park.
