Tree Roots Lifting Road Surface

Reported via mobile in the Other Road Issues category anonymously at 10:52, Sun 5 October 2025

Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8253871.

Clarifies.Store.Scan (W3W)

Tree roots have lifted the road surface creating a hump in the road which is getting progressively more prominent. The picture and video don’t quite show how much the surface has lifted. The section of road is approx 2.5 meters in length by approx 60cm wide.

Will potentially cause an accident if hit by a bike, also might catch a low slung car. Also means cars towing horse trailers tip to one side as they go over.
