Hedges obstructing public footway

Reported via desktop in the Rights of way category anonymously at 06:21, Sun 5 October 2025

Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8253372.

At 22 Elizabeth Road, Waterlooville and 24 Elizabeth Road, Waterlooville uncontrolled hedges have grown over the public footway causing obstruction to sight impaired pedestrians an others.

Two wheelie bins can be seen indicating the amount of trespass onto the footway. Councils can fine those who leave wheelie bins on the footway for too long and cause obstruction. The hedges occupy the equivalent area of over 16 Havant Borough Council wheelie bins and should be cut back to the property boundary.
