Timing on traffic signals

Reported via desktop in the Request Timing Review category anonymously at 12:02, Friday 3 October 2025 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8247801.

The traffic signal on St Andrews Road in the direction of coming from the train station towards Kingsthorpe outise the cafe and lorry park on the corner. For a long while now the traffic signal letteing cars towards Kingsthorpe only lets a few cars across, where as all the other signals, Grafton Street, Spencer Bridge Road let a lot more cars across each time. At busy times this causes traffic to back right up to the lights at St Peters way. Today I have come past these lights and have seen cars jumping the lights after only a few cars have been allowed to cross. From another point of view it costs a fortune when sitting at these lights in a taxi. I woud be grateful if you could look into this and help relieve traffic conjection along this road.
