Timing on traffic signals

The traffic signal on St Andrews Road in the direction of coming from the train station towards Kingsthorpe outise the cafe and lorry park on the corner. For a long while now the traffic signal letteing cars towards Kingsthorpe only lets a few cars across, where as all the other signals, Grafton Street, Spencer Bridge Road let a lot more cars across each time. At busy times this causes traffic to back right up to the lights at St Peters way. Today I have come past these lights and have seen cars jumping the lights after only a few cars have been allowed to cross. From another point of view it costs a fortune when sitting at these lights in a taxi. I woud be grateful if you could look into this and help relieve traffic conjection along this road.
