Overgrown hedge blocking footway along Bull Street, next to Manor Close

At the junction of Manor Close and Bull Street, the hedge of number 8 Manor Close are significantly blocking the footway along bull street. The hedge has been allowed by the owners to grow so that it’s now covering over 1m of the footway. It’s very difficult to walk along here and I think would be impossible with a wheelchair or pushchair.

  • Thank you for your report. Landowners and occupiers are responsible for maintaining any boundary features on their property that adjoin public highways and affect highway safety.
