Someone reversed into the railing on Mon 29/9/25 at quite a speed causing the legs to bend and for it to jump from out of its location. We are unable to put back in place due to damage and people are now ignoring the 'Keep Clear' signage on the road therefore blocking our emergency access (we have children in our care who are on Care Plans). The person who has damaged this has accepted full responsibility and is willing to pay for the damages.

  • And today the team that have tarmacced the path have filled one of the entry holes for the barrier!!!

  • URGENT!!!! This is causing a major problem with people parking over the emergency access more than ever. Without the railing people are ignoring the road signage and just parking where they want. We need to have the Emergency Access clear for Medical Emergencies therefore needs fixing urgently!!!!

    As our families left today someone decided to use our lane to reverse into to turn around instead of using the turning point at the top of the road....our lane is for pedestrian use ONLY and young children without any sense of road awareness/danger are coming in and out of our Preschool with their families. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!!!!
