Overgrown trees

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8239757.
The branches overhang private garden and also public footpath. The site also has diseased Ash trees. Last year the tree inspector said the trees were due to be cut down. Nothing has has been done yet but it was called scheduled works.

Thank you for your report. These trees are regularly inspected approximately every 3 years and were last inspected in 2024. They are due to be inspected again in early 2026 and a note will be made on the tree's record of your request to prune back the tree canopy from the adjacent garden. Ash trees to the rear of the gardens were felled in January 2024 and any remaining Ash trees within the copse will be inspected annually or biannually to assess their condition and the extent of Ash Dieback disease.
