Dead tree in danger of collapse

The dead tree in this location of Thompson’s Park has been present for several years and has frequently been used by children as a climbing structure.
Recently, I noticed significant signs of decay, and the tree appears to be at risk of collapse. In my opinion, it now constitutes a potential hazard and could cause devastating injury to individuals or animals should it fall.
