Emergency access issues

Reported via Android in the Car parking category anonymously at 18:48, Tue 10 May 2016

Sent to Middlesbrough Council 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 822437.

The Viewley Centre is a council owned commercial facility. The Doctors surgery requires 24hrs unhindered access yet despite this been raised with the council chief executive by the practice, the ward councillors and others the emergency access is obstructed by vehicles. This is to a point that ambulances and other emergency vehicles are required to use the non-emergency entrance. This could be resolved by way of applying parking restrictions and or yellow box markings. The council could enforce this by way of the enforcement vehicles and the issuing of fixed penalty notices.

This is much more favourable than lives been continually put at risk by no action being taken.

Please can this be reviewed urgently,

Regards Jon Cllr Jon Rathmell Nunthorpe Ward
