Traffic attempting to access Landsdowne road from Berrymere rd via Sandleigh rd where there is no through route

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8218985.

Road surface at lower end of Berrymere rd shredded due to vehicles extricating to reroute, as road surface has just been renewed it seems wise to advise vehicles to take correct route. A road sign on Besselsleigh road and Sandleigh road junction would help to solve this problem,

  • Thank you for your report. We have concluded our assessment and closed this report. It was determined that there is an existing " No through Road sign" at the junction of Sandleigh Rd with Besselsleigh Rd on the left hand side of the road. The sign is visible with no obstructions therefore meets the required threshold. Drivers should drive to the site specific conditions and any Dangerous driving should be reported to Thames Valley Police.
