Painting of white lines

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8218452.

Road markings require updating since road resurfacing. Missing broken central white lines on part of main street, Clifton. Causing traffic to overtake parked cars dangerously and causing pinch point with oncoming traffic.

  • Residents parked cars have been hit several times at this point and are having to use traffic cones to alleviate.

  • Thank you for your enquiry, on some rural roads after resurfacing, the centre white lines are sometimes omitted due to the width of the carriageway. As drivers may expect the carriageway marked with lines to be wide enough for two way traffic.
