Two foot pothole on single width bridge

This is an extremely large pothole spanning two feet with steep sides of around six inches deep. The bridge itself is single width and in the dark, the pothole was impossible to spot and avoid, leading to significant damage of my vehicle. The white paint denotes that you are already aware of said pothole, but again, that does very little for drivers in the dark, where there are no streetlights.
