Investigating
Road subsidence
Reported via mobile in the Potholes / Highway Condition category by Donald Allison at 15:32, Wednesday 24 September 2025
Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8208973.
A ‘sinkhole’, that has been repaired on two previous occasions has reappeared. This was repaired quite recently but the road is now collapsing and creating a deep pothole. As can be seen on the attached photos, the hole is adjacent to a telegraph pole carrying high power cables! This situation requires your early inspection by a competent engineer to establish the cause and then to permanently rectify the problem.
Location: Junction of Oak Lane and Drayson Lane, Crick. My three words: ///homework.clinking.magical
