This drain, completely now filled and buried with soil and leaves goes under the road to a soakaway on the other side. As a result, large volumes of are now washed down and deposited outsmeanide The Cottage, Days Cottage and Greyhound House.

Reported via Android in the Blocked Drain / Gully category anonymously at 15:14, Monday 22 September 2025

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8198794.

When this drain and it's soakaway were repaired by OCC, the contractor advised OCC that the soakway would fill with debris and be difficult to clean unless access to the downhill end of the soakaway was provided. This and the recent road resurfacing mean that the cottages are at risk of flooding.
