Public Lighting/Street lighting

Reported via desktop in the Street lighting category anonymously at 12:19, Monday 22 September 2025

Sent to Leicester City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8197581.

There are no lampposts on this section of the street as well as through the park (the footpath cutting through Braunstone park park from the roundabout at Gooding avenue up until Winstanley house). This causes it to be pitch black when walking through the section of the park where the road is shared between cars and pedestrians. As the park is open 24/7 it can pose a danger for pedestrians walking through the park as there is little to no visibility.
