Poor road signage at dangerous bend

Reported via desktop in the Road traffic signs category anonymously at 12:09, Monday 22 September 2025

Sent to Richmond upon Thames Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8197518.

There remains very poor road signage at the bend where Green Lane and Oak Avenue meet. One of the 20mph signs is obscured by a tree and the other across the road fell off over a year ago now and has never been replaced. There is also fading yellow street paint where the road meets the pavement. Speeding is a major problem at this bend in the road and cars very regularly round the bend in excess of 30-40mph. I believe it has become dangerous at times to make a right turn from Armstrong Road onto Green Lane/Oak Avenue due to speeding traffic, and the lack of clear signage is contributing to this. Please provide necessary improvements to help reduce speeding along this bend.
