Trench of collapsed tarmac / damage across the road.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 3 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 28 days. Our current average response time for a Priority 3 repair is 12 days.

    The previous repairs in September have now caused degradation of adjoining tarmac. Large pothole forming and the whole trench needs patching to the standard of previous patches.

  • Investigation: Completed (Duplicate), Defect Repair: Work Completed - We can confirm that we have already been made aware of this issue and a works order has been raised on a routine safety inspection. The expected completion date for these works will be 20/03/2026
