Two badly set manhole covers caused puncture

Reported via desktop in the Utility covers category anonymously at 13:26, Saturday 20 September 2025 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bristol City Council 6 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 8190853.

There are two manhole covers along Westbury Road between Henleaze Road and Henleaze Gardens which are poorly set in the surrounding tarmac. The second has a hard edge of metal raised compared the manhole lid and caused me a double pinch puncture on both wheels of my pedal bikes. I live reasonably close so was lucky to be able to walk home but it has required two replacement inner tubes and a new tyre!
