Dangerous overgrown hedge

Hello. There is an overgrown hedge between Singe Wood and the Bird in Hand pub which is causing a risk to pedestrians walking to the pub and also blocking visibility for cars turning out of Singe Wood. The hedge grows on the verge and is not the property of the neighbouring house. The hedge is 1-2m wider than it has previously been and adds to the danger of an already dangerous corner.
Please can you cut down or reduce the width of the hedge by 1-2m? This would improve visibility and allow pedestrians and cyclists to access the pub.

Thank you for your report. Landowners and occupiers are responsible for maintaining any boundary features on their property that adjoin public highways and affect highway safety. In this case, the highway appears to be impacted, so we will contact the land/property owner. If necessary, further action will be taken.
