Damaged tree branch on the road

Reported via mobile anonymously at 15:35, Mon 15 September 2025

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8168249.

A large branch has broken off a large Sycamore tree. It landed on the opposite corner off Penfold Gardens to that where the tree stands. It has been been removed from the road but had it struck a pedestrian or car it could have caused serious injury or damage. There are several large Sycamore and Ash trees that have never been managed or controlled. A large amount of dead, dieing, damaged, diseased branches are visible along with branches that cross which, in the high winds we are experiencing, create a risk to vehicles or pedestrians, especially parents and children who use this route to the day nursery in the Great Billing playing field. Tese trees have been reported before and do not confirm the the Councils own tree policy. All correspondence will be retained in case of accident or injury.
