Dangerous parking on bend and parking across in use driveway

Reported via mobile in the Parking on double yellow lines category anonymously at 15:31, Mon 15 September 2025 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8168210.

At school pick up between 3pm -3.30pm, parents park their cars across people’s driveways (restricting access in and out or blocking completely), on bends (dangerous for visibility and kids crossing road) and on double yellow lines. There is more parking further down the road so this is just being lazy, inconsiderate and dangerous.

Could a couple of traffic wardens be sent around 3.15pm on a school to ensure/ encourage, at both sides of the school, parents park more considerately and less dangerously?

Updates

  • This has been passed to the Parking Services Team.

Subject to available resources, a civil enforcement officer (traffic warden) will go and assess, and if a vehicle is parked in contravention of a parking restriction, a penalty charge notice may be issued.
