At the location above the road is very narrow and people (cars and vans) park making the road impassable. This often results in vans reversing back towards the A421, this includes reversing around blind bends, I have videos but could not upload. I am concerned that this parking results in dangerous manoeuvres due to the road being blocked. Additionally, this would prevent emergency services being able to reach the residents of Bridge Street. People have been asked not to park in this area but have not stopped.

Updates

  • This has been passed to the Parking Services Team.

Subject to available resources, a civil enforcement officer (traffic warden) will go and assess, and if a vehicle is parked in contravention of a parking restriction, a penalty charge notice may be issued.
