Huge dead tree, dangerous risk to my house as only a few metres away

Dead or dying tree a few metres from our property. The tree limbs are unsafe and pose an unacceptably high risk of causing damage or injury. The tree rocks in the wind - very dangerous as it overhangs our property, also to people using footpath underneath the branches. Tree also blocks streetlight so communal footpath is in darkness. First reported two years ago. An inspection of this tree would be appreciated.

  • Thank you for your report. This tree is regularly inspected as part of our programme of scheduled inspections. The tree has been inspected on four occasions since 2018, the latest being in august this year. Works are in our non safety critical programme including raising the crown over the footpath and pruning back foliage from neighbouring property. This report is now closed.
