Overgrown hedge

Reported via desktop in the Hedges category anonymously at 10:45, Sat 13 September 2025

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8159788.

Hedge must cover at least 60% of the path width, forcing people to walk in road around other people! On a dangerous blind bend. Appealing lack of maintenance from council, hasn’t been cut back in 6 years.

Council ref: ENQ251058979

  • UPDATE: 17th September 2025 - Overgrowing hedge still needs cutting back ASAP.

  • My husband and I had to step off the pavement and walk on the road today to pass an elderly lady on this stretch of Radley Road, due to the overgrown hedge. There is also a risk of being poked in the eye by protruding twigs.
