Pavement completely blocked by vegetation on Church Street

The plants which separate the private parking area for 93-89 High St from the Church St pavement have not been kept in check. To the west of the parking area entrance they have completely blocked the pavement and are now spilling over onto the roadway. To the east of the entrance thorny brambles are rampant and are already half way across the pavement.

  • Thank you for your report. Landowners and occupiers are responsible for maintaining any boundary features on their property that adjoin public highways and affect highway safety. In this case, the highway appears to be impacted, so we will contact the land/property owner. If necessary, further action will be taken.
