Road level raised when road re tarmaced

Water enters our property when heavy rain which directs down our drive as road level raised and now there is no gully to guide the water down the road, which then floods the garages of 43 and 45. Please could some sandbag aid this diversion, whilst not permanent would gauge to see if it causes problems further down. many thanks nick

We will investigate the issue. If additional clearance work is needed, the local highways team will prioritise the most urgent reports. Where possible, maintenance tasks will be grouped together in a schedule for efficiency.
Sometimes during periods of heavy rain, even a clear gully can be overwhelmed. Usually the water will drain away within an hour.
