  • Hi, the 28 days have passed but nothing has been done yet. with winters approaching the light from the lamppost is being blocked leaving the street in complete darkness. Would also request an assessment to see if another lamp post can be installed in the street to brighten it up as there are badgers and foxes that roam the area and have on more than one occasion ran towards me and its too dark to see them.

  • Apologies but could I clarify that you mean there are no overhanging branches or vegetation that is blocking the light and that it is clear to reach all areas it should? If that is the case, could you please advise how I can raise this to a independent party for review and impartial decision? Thanks

  • An officer recently attended the location and found the street light free of any vegetation that was blocking the light. If you wish to dispute this please visit https://www.bromley.gov.uk/ complaints

  • Did the officer consider it is winters and all overhanging/overgrown tree branches had shed the leaves which is why it may have appeared to be unblocked? Come spring next year once the leaves grow back, the problem will still exist. thanks for the link, I will raise a complaint using it. please leave this case open till it is investigated via the complaint.
