Speed hump to high

I am writing to raise a formal complaint regarding a speed hump located on Wallingford Road in Goring, which is repeatedly scraping the underside of my vehicle, despite me driving over it at a significantly reduced speed.

This issue has occurred on multiple occasions, most recently on 28th April 2025, and has resulted in noticeable damage to the underside of my car. I am concerned that the design or height of this particular hump may not meet regulatory standards, and I fear continued use of this road may lead to further damage, not only for myself but for other drivers as well.

I kindly request that the council investigate this speed hump to assess whether it complies with relevant safety and construction regulations. I would also appreciate advice on whether there is a procedure for claiming compensation for the damage caused.
